You have the track record.
You have the credibility that took a decade to build.
But online, none of that is visible yet.

Visibility doesn’t naturally reward depth.
It rewards clarity, consistency, and distribution.

You don't want to become an influencer.
You just want the right people to find you,
before the opportunity goes to someone who was
simply easier to find.

You want your expertise to travel further
without diluting what makes it valuable.

And you'd rather figure that out alongside seven other people who feel exactly the same way.

Researchers, consultants, founders who are done watching from the sidelines and smart enough to know they should’t have to.

That's exactly who this week is for.

How the Week Works

The week you stop overthinking and start building.

STRATEGIC CLARITY

POSITIONING

Clarity before visibility

Before you write a single word, you need to know what you're building and who it's actually for. Most experts skip this step. It's why their content feels like noise even to them.

SYSTEMS

From thinking to publishing

The gap between having ideas and getting them out is almost never about talent. It's about not having a system. You'll leave with one.

Build something you can sustain

You shouldn't be doing all of this yourself. We'll map what only you can do, what can be delegated, and what a realistic content operation looks like for someone with your schedule.

The right room changes everything

Eight people who take their work seriously, on the Portuguese coast, away from the noise. The environment isn't incidental, it's the point.

The Work

What you will leave with

A bright yoga studio with a girl practicing gentle restorative yoga.
A group breathwork session in a tranquil indoor retreat space.

Understand the Authority Economy

Before you publish a single word, you need to understand the game you're playing.

When was the last time you had 5 days to think?

Sustained focus requires more than good intentions.

Focused Work Hours

Phones down. Actually down. Protected blocks for the kind of deep work you keep promising yourself you'll do at home.

Small-Group Exercises

Ten smart people in a room disagreeing productively. The group becomes your sharpest feedback system.

Nourishing Meals

Food that doesn't derail you Because apparently that's rare enough to mention.

Movement & Energy

Optional. But you'll want to. Morning movement and beach walks to keep your body as sharp as your thinking.

Nature & Space

Turns out distance from your inbox is a strategic advantage. Coastal air. Open horizons. Better decisions.

Shared Evenings

Dinner without an agenda. The conversations that happen here tend to be the ones people remember longest.

Facilitators

We don't teach what we read.
We teach what we do.

Two practitioners who have built what they're teaching you to build,
and are still actively doing it.

Giulia Camargo

Personal Brand Strategist

Giulia doesn't have a sales process. She has a personal brand. For her, they're the same thing. She works with executives at IBM, Inditex, and Zapier — none of whom she ever pitched. She's run employee advocacy programmes that generated 3M+ impressions in six weeks. She's facilitated workshops for rooms full of people who walked in thinking they had nothing interesting to say, and left with a content system they actually used. She also co-founded Sobremesa(tech) — Madrid's philosophy and AI dinner club — because she believes the best thinking happens in small rooms with interesting people who disagree well. This retreat is an extension of that exact belief.

João Góis

Experience Designer

João is obsessed with how things look & feel. Out of every discipline he’s worked across (branding, social media strategy, organisational design, AI systems) he keeps gravitating back to experiences. Because he believes the most powerful thing you can design is a room where people actually want to be, and where real thinking can happen. He started his career in the communication world, leading social media and digital strategy for international organisations. Today, he serves as Design Innovation Lead at B Lab Europe, embedding human-centered design and AI-enabled systems into how the organisation operates and evolves. He has since led the experience design of corporate retreats and conferences with 100–300+ participants, shaping session flow, storytelling architecture, spatial systems, and participant journeys from start to finish.

Location

Where you think changes
how you think.

Cozy reading nook with sofa, chair, and plants inside a glass cabin with mountain forest views.
A private home on the coast of Portugal.

Not a co-working space. A house where the wifi works and the noise doesn't.

Work happens at long tables in natural light. Conversations happen over dinner. Walks happen by the ocean, which turns out to be useful for thinking.

Comporta is far enough to feel like a reset, close enough to Lisbon without losing a day.

Cozy sleeping bed high in the mountain with a sunset view
Group of hikers walking through a mountain meadow surrounded by pine trees and misty peaks.

I’m not trying to become an “influencer.” Is this still relevant?

That's exactly why you should be here. This retreat is designed for people who find that world faintly embarrassing but can no longer afford to ignore visibility entirely. The goal isn't followers. It's being findable by the right people before someone less qualified gets there first.

Will I actually create content during the week?

Yes. This is not a strategy retreat where you go home with a beautiful deck and no output. You will leave with a positioning statement, a content framework, and real drafts. The work happens during the week, not after it.

Do I need a large following to join?

No. Most participants are starting from a small or dormant presence. What you need is expertise worth sharing and the seriousness to build something that lasts. The follower count comes later. That's what the week is for.

How do I get to Comporta?

Fly into Lisbon. It's roughly 90 minutes by car. We'll share transfer options once your spot is confirmed.

Is this a full-day commitment?

Yes — and intentionally so. The days are structured but not relentless. Mornings are focused work, afternoons are sessions and exercises, evenings are shared dinners. You'll be busy, but not exhausted.
